A Vietnam Zippo is one of the best commemorative war collectibles. In contemporary times, Vietnam is one of the most important wars the United States was involved in. Most of the Vietnam-war inspired Zippos are simple, with commemorative inscriptions and quotations that are both inspiring and tragic. The reason for this is that Zippos were actually common utility equipment for American soldiers there. These inscriptions were words engraved by the soldiers themselves. This was so they can tell apart their own Zippos from the others. These are great collector items because these lighters were actually part of the war itself.
